In Germany the LGBTQI culture and communities are a important part of the society. You can find these communities nearly in every German town and city. Because of the progressive legislation and an atmosphere with respect for everyone, Germany is now a place were LGBTQI individuals can live, work and have a good time.

Because you can find LGBTQI communities in all of the major cities and in smaller towns, too, there are many activities for LGBTQI people in Germany. There is an variety on offer which suits to everyone. The range of cultural attractions, scenic beauty and the highly organized LGBTQI communities makes it possible for you to feel right at home. Moreover, a research proves that 87% of the Germany thinks that homosexuality should be accepted in the society. This makes Germany the country with the second greatest acceptance ranking for LGB people in the world, after Spain.

There are around 300.000 gay people living in Berlin which makes it the third largest metropolis for gay people in Europe. Because of this the LGBTQI scene in Berlin is very lively with many bars for LGBTQI people, same-sex dance courses, sports clubs and even Fast-food diners with mostly gay staff.
